GIRLS' junior framework

What is the Girls Junior Framework?

A funded pathway for girls enter, stay, and thrive in golf

Our Vision for Girls’ Golf

The Girls Junior Framework sets out a clear, connected pathway to support golf clubs to attract, retain, and develop girls in ways
that reflect how they experience sport in real life.

The framework moves away from short-term, activity-led delivery and instead focuses on creating environments where girls feel they
belong and want to stay involved.

Scottish Golf has committed to grow female club membership to 38,000 by 2035. Within the ten-year period a sustained focus on junior
programmes and pathways will be key to delivering this – and other associated
targets – within the Women and Girls strategy.
