SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport.
We have launched a SafeGolf Accreditation programme, which will enable all affiliated clubs and facilities to complete a self-evaluation of their current safeguarding practices through an online self-assessment tool to support them with implementing the standards set out by Scottish Golf.
The process will cover three topic areas essential to delivering a safe environment where children and young people can enjoy the game:
1. Junior Workforce
2. Safeguarding Policies
3. Safeguarding Procedures
