Get into Golf: Girls Registration
Who it’s for
- Girls new to golf
- Girls with little or no prior experience
- Fun, confidence, and positive first experiences
- A welcoming entry point into golf
- A pathway into ongoing club activity
- 1. Deliver an 8-week beginner programme (with at least 6 sessions at the club and 2 taster sessions in schools or the community)
- 2. Deliver activity in addition to existing junior sessions
- 3. Evidence how new girls will be welcomed and integrated into club life
- 4. Complete delivery by the published programme deadline
- 5. Submit participant data and evaluation
- 1. Deliver activity aligned to the Girls Junior Framework
- 2. Use appropriately qualified coaches (PGA Professional, Community Golf Instructor, or Level 1 licensed coach)
- 3. Create welcoming, inclusive environments for girls
- 4. Support girls to continue playing beyond the programme
- 5. Manage promotion, enrolment, and registration
- 6. Collect participant fees where appropriate to support sustainability
- 7. Engage with monitoring, evaluation, and learning
